European regulators target closet tracker funds - impact for financial deputies?
The German regulator is the latest in Europe to launch an investigation into investors paying high fees for actively managed funds that closely follow an index known as ‘closet tracker funds’.
To learn about your possible exposure as a financial deputy, see my recent article for the STEP Journal.

In our experience, the majority of deputyship portfolios do have exposure to these funds, thus leaving you open to future client complaints or sanction by the regulator.
For the next three months, we are offering financial deputies a complimentary written report.
The report will confirm that they have no exposure to these funds in their client portfolios or quantify what level of exposure they do have so they can take appropriate action.
